Round 1

A round about LucyRound 1 is reminiscent of "Talk About". Each contestant is given 15 seconds to say as much about a certain celebrity as possible. Will she say 'Hoffman'? On the monitor behind the contestants is a list of 7 hidden words. On their turn, each contestant chooses a number from 1 through 7. The word is revealed to the home audience. If the contestant says that word in the 15 second span, the contestant wins the hidden amount associated with that word, between 100 and 250 points depending on the likelihood of the word being said.

A split decision from 2 contestantsShe's happy with her 5 points and a yesAfter the word is revealed to the home audience, the other contestants get to see what the word is. Both contestants predict whether the describing contestant will say the word. If the prediction is correct, that contestant wins 50 points. If not, 0 points are scored. Play continues until all 3 contestants have described one celebrity.

Round 2

ContestantsThe contestants are seated from left to right in order of how they finished the first round. Play starts with the contestant in the lead after round 1. The object of round 2 is to decide whether statements about celebrities are facts or rumors. Look at those glassesCorrect predictions are worth 100 points. A false answer gives control of the game to the contestant directly to the right (from the host's point of view). When the player with the least score after round 1 makes an error, play continues with the high scorer from round 1. The game continues for approximately 7 minutes. Whoever leads when the final bell is rung wins the game and $500 cash.

Is it Carl Reiner, Rob Reiner, or both? The winner of the game has an opportunity to increase the bank on Rodeo Drive by answering 5 questions. The contestant is given 2 celebrities and a statement. The statement is true about either celebrity A, celebrity B, or both celebrities. Correct answers add $200 to the Rodeo Drive bank.

The Rodeo Drive bonus round

A guy telling rumors about a celebrity to a cardboard ladyThe bonus round is reminiscent of another Jay Wolpert classic, "Whew!". The object is to identify a celebrity by overhearing a conversation about that celebrity. Money in the bankFor each celebrity identified, the contestant wins a prize associated with that store and the contestant moves to the next storefront and listens to gossip about another celebrity. If all 5 celebrities are identified, the contestant wins all the prizes on Rodeo Drive plus the progressive bank. The bank starts at $2,000 plus the money amount won in the 5 question round after the main game on day 1 only. Each day the bank is not earned, the bank increases the amount earned during the 5 question round for that day.

Additional notes

* If 2 players are tied after round 1, a statement is read. If the first contestant to buzz in is correct, he/she wins 1 point and earns an advantage since he/she will start play in round 2 before the loser of the tie-breaker.
* "Rodeo Drive" premiered on the same day as "Supermarket Sweep", one of Lifetime's most popular shows.
