 Q.What is stewardship?

A.Stewardship is a way of life - safeguarding and using wisely and justly our human and financial resources. It is the acknowledgment that all we possess is gift from God, our creator. Stewardship is an expression of discipleship - how we understand and live out our lives. Whatever we are and possess is in actuality God's gift that we hold in trust. According to the 1993 pastoral from the National Conference of Catholic Bishops entitled Stewardship: A Disciple's Response, the bishops call all to: receive God's gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them lovingly with others, and return them with increase to God.

Stewardship is the tangible, visible result of our desire to give back to the ONE who has given us all we have and are and who loves us more than we can understand or know.

Stewardship is a conversion of the heart. Stewardship is answering the call to discipleship by serving God best, through our service to each other.
