personal dignity. Domestic violence is a violation of a person
and is a concern for the Catholic Church.
The Office for Women has a resource binder on domestic violence
for pastors and pastoral staff members. This will help you to
detect domestic violence, and it also gives concrete information
on how to respond. The binder is 80 pages and costs $16.00
including shipping and handling. A separate folder on domestic
violence is available for $6.00, including shipping and handing.
The Office for Women can work with local organizations to arrange educational programs for pastoral staff members and others interested in this topic.
