2005 Lenten Journey to the Dominican Republic

Every Catholic in Southeastern Wisconsin has a “time - talent and treasure - share” in the Dominican Republic. We all have a sister parish, Sagrada Familia in the most impoverished area of the famous resort island. World Mission Ministries invites you to walk this holy ground where we have been sharing faith and friendship for over twenty years. The 2005 Lenten Journey will depart February 28 and return on March 9.

It may not be too late to ask family and friends to help gift you with this opportunity to grow in solidarity with people whose circumstances are so different from our own. For $1600 participants will experience the hospitality of families, meet with people in parish communities, receive an orientation to the island, visit historical sites, a “free trade” zone and some projects of Catholic Relief Services. All transportation, transfers, tips, guide service, translation, simple meals and lodging, along with daily reflection and prayer are included and provide an unforgettable experience. For more information and applications, contact Rosemary Huddleston, OP huddlestonr@archmil.org 414 769 3405 or Berenice Lechuga at lechugab@archmil.org 414 769-3337. Registrations due January 15!
