The PPG Lifetime Paint Performance Guarantee covers the areas of the vehicle
refinished with specified PPG products for as long as the customer owns the
vehicle. The refinished areas are covered for the following paint failures:
Peeling or delamination of the topcoat and/or other layers of paint
Cracking or checking
Loss of gloss caused by cracking, and hazing
Any paint failure caused by proven defective PPG automotive products which
are covered by the guarantee

Caring for
your Finish |
Once you've had your vehicle refinished with
PPG, you'll
want to keep it looking the best it can. Here are some tips:
- Wash your vehicle regularly using only clear water
for the first 30 days. After 30 days, a mild dish detergent or soap and water can be used
to remove road film. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Rinse with clear water. Dry with a chamois or soft
cloth.
- It's unlikely that your new
PPG finish will ever
require waxing. Avoid the use of any wax for at least three months.
- Avoid spilling gasoline on your finish. In the event
of a spill, allow the fuel to evaporate for an hour. Then wash with a mild dish detergent
and water. Rinse.

The heart of the apparatus for identifying and mixing colours is the PPG
Color Box. This is the colour catalogue for professionals, with pull -out
arrays, organised according to makes of car. A glance is enough to find the
shade you want. This workshop inforama is completed by our Colormix Poster,
matching shades to their corresponding Standomix Toners. This simplifies looking
for shades considerably. In fact we offer our partners in the painting trade
special tinting seminars, courses in shades recognition, where they can extend
their knowledge in a practicaI way.
