This campaign is loosely based on events around the time of the Soviet Winter offensive during December 1942. It is NOT a historical recreation of those events, I am just using this time frame and maps of the area for creating the overall theme of this particular fight. Broad liberty has been taken on my behalf in order to create as balanced and enjoyable a gaming experience for all participants as possible. It is a purely hypothetical operation!
