The annular eclipse of 1994 path went straight through Kansas City. It was a bright and sunny day but I got called to subsitutue teach so I decided to make some money. During lunch, I went out to check on the eclipse. |

I took some pictures as the the moon covered the sun. I was surprised how dark it got relatively. Not totality dark but noticable.

I took some pictures with my minolta SLR camera without a tripod. Worth a try. I put the mylar on the lens and shot at a high speed using negative film. As the moon entered the sun's disc , it looked like an eyeball but he pupil was touching the sun. |
