A song from my brand new CD "Two Reasons". It was just released yesterday---The album is a Contemporary Jazz all original solo release. Some of the tunes are kind of smooth and others are pretty funky--like this one. I wrote the entire CD using Acid 4.0, then in a pro-tools studio added or replaced most loops with live players. The whole production is a interesting mix of live/loops--sometimes even loop drums with a live kit. I hope you enjoy!

This piece is steamy!
The change at around the 1:00 leaves you unprepared for the fire that hits you at 1:30.
I loved the solo introduced at 2:57. But the one at 3:27 blew me away! AWESOME!!!!
Overall an excellent piece produced to perfection.

Great!!!! |
This song starts funky and smooth--great tone on the horn. The swing dextion with horns and upright bass is sweet. Then---wow! That funk section hits like a tone of bricks, excellent solo as usual. The swing again is nice contrast--nice smooth intro into yhe 2nd break. HOLY-CRAP!!!!!!!! That 2nd solo is UNREAL..........What notet did you even play? The first unbeleivable high not was stellar, then you just shot it straight up an octave and "bopped" it down like several octaves.
That is the most unreal, incredible solo I have ever heard. The fast notes with the backgrounds is superb. I cant even put into words how awe inspiring this song is. Im on my 3rd listen now and still find it just---I have no words.
I would give you higher than a ten on all scores but cant. The mix is total pro, the other players are spot on as well. Supurb work. eVan
