King’s Park International Church is a diverse congregation of people committed to God’s purposes in the Triangle community and the world. The individuals and families at King’s Park are unified under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, sharing a love for God and a passion for His will. Together, we embrace a sense of history, a common mission, and biblical values as we seek God with all our hearts.
King's Park began as an evangelistic outreach to university students in 1981. During that revival, our founding pastor, Ron Lewis, was called to the ministry of preaching, teaching and making disciples of the Lord Jesus. As a fruit of students coming to Christ, being discipled, and remaining in the area, the campus outreach grew into a community church. While the campus ministries continued to grow, we established a community church in 1990. It was not long before our impact and outreach spanned the entire Triangle region.
Since our inception in 1990, King’s Park has continued to focus on building a solid, Christ-centered family through evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. As a result of our commitment to these core values, literally thousands of souls have come to Christ world-wide through our church, its ministries, and the missionaries released to the nations. Locally, our roots in the RTP region continue to grow deeper and broader.
At King’s Park it is our desire to be a beacon within our community and a light to the nations. God has called the King’s Park family of believers to serve Jesus Christ with a whole heart, to reach the Triangle area with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to impact the nations through missions. We do this through actively pursuing evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and church planting.
