A second step is to read the Parish Stewardship Manual (two manuals have been given to each parish) and pay close attention to the steps recommended for stewardship committee formation. (ie. duties, characteristics, etc.).

Commitment by the pastor, having a highly motivated, trained stewardship committee, and following a step-by-step stewardship process are some key components to a successful stewardship education effort.

It is also important that parishes utilize many different communication tools to reach their diverse parish community.
