St. Leo and St. Rose - Milwaukee's Catholic Urban Academies - have no parishes to support them and are among the most needy in the archdiocese. Without archdiocesan support, the Academies would not exist. Other needy Catholic schools do receive substantial assistance, for example, from the City of Milwaukee Parental School Choice Program and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Supporting Fund, especially if they are collaborating with other Catholic schools. The CSA also funds the Office for Parish Stewardship and School Development, which helps schools raise third-source funds.
