Unbaptized adults;
Baptized, but uncatechized, adults;
Baptized Christians of other denomination who seek full communion in the Catholic Church;
Unbaptized children of catechized age.
The Rite is not intended for adult Catholics who need to be confirmed, returning Catholics, or fully initiated Catholics seeking "updating."
