Asteroid Densities Compilation
This data set consists of a compilation of asteroid masses, diameters, and
bulk densities compiled by Dan Britt and appearing in his Asteroids III
chapter on asteroid density and porosity. The table in the chapter is
of course designed for visual inspection and the information has here
been adapted to a fixed-format file. The information should still be
accessible to visual inspection, however.
The "best estimate" file contains the current best estimate of
mass, diameter, and bulk density for each asteroid, and the complete
compilation file additionally gives
historical measurements of mass and diameter, where available.
