My name is Jon.
I am currently looking for work as a freelance graphic designer,
I finished my training in graphic design in april 2002 and unfortunately could not find work. I recently decided to turn back to graphic design after a string of failed employment. However my skills are rather rusty. I am also looking to get into web design/development however do not possess the programmes for this.
I was wondering which programmes are the best for this and would greatly appreciate any help and advise that any1 would be able to give me.

As for programs to use:
-Adobe Photoshop
It would probobly be the best, especially if you are looking to get back into graphic design as an occupation, but even as a hobby it will be good.
would it be ok to check other peoples portfolios on here if they have 1. i ask because people may think i am looking to copy but i assure you all that i am looking for inspiration for artwork only.
