Joe George -chef, culinary educator and writer- is a graduate of The Culinary Institute Of America and The School For American Chefs. He has also studied at The New School For Social Research in New York City and Le Cordon Bleu, in both Ottawa and Paris.

He is the past co-owner of the acclaimed Café Cosmos, in Buffalo, New York and has been chef at numerous Buffalo area restaurants. Since 1994 Joe has written a bi-weekly food column in Artvoice, and writes a bi-monthly column in Buffalo Spree. His work has also appeared in other local and national publications, including Chef Magazine, Sally's Place, Cheftalk and The National Culinary Review.

Formerly a part-time instructor in the culinary department of Erie Community College, Joe currently teaches private cooking classes and is employed as chef at the Twentieth Century Club. He lives in Buffalo with his son Isaac George.
