SCIENTOLOGY MAKES PEOPLE DISAPPEAR

Where's Marty and Warren?

From Annoymous:
Amusing news from Riverside.
I called last week asking for a welfare check on Marty and Warren.
I called back today to see what had happened,
they couldn't find the record of my first call and the dispatcher was freaking out because he remembered the call last week.
I had the date and time I had called. He thinks there is no way to erase something put in by a dispatcher.
Anyway, this time he gave me the serial number of my call.
It will be most interesting to see if they ever work up the nerve to go check on those two.

Response to Religious Freedom Watch by Arnie Lerma

-Scientology's now defunct 'bigotwatch' dead agent pages have included allegations of guilt by association to some 'anarchist' workers party..- - the bogus claims consist of a fellow walking up to me on the street and asking me for a picket sign, I said sure, and gave him one, little did I know this was a set-up, as camera's clicked inside scientology in DC.... Later I found out who he was, a fellow named Bill White. whom I have never spoken to on the phone or exchanged e-mail and know nothing about.

Some time prior to August 2002, the Bigotwatch pages were removed and the site is now gone, having been replaced by Scientology's own "ReligiousFreedomWatch.org" - which shows a picture of:

"Arnie Lerma at a
hate march outside a
Scientology church during
a memorial for victims of 9/11

You see, a Man with a picket sign = Hate March
The picket sign [ which was not shown ] said
WARNING! Entering Greedy Cult Zone
"Scientology LIES"
I am making a sour face, but was taunted into yelling back at their camera.
And this organization tries to hide behind 911 calling their
use of 911 as a recruiting ploy a "memorial"!
See: http://www.lisamcpherson.org/cos-wtc.htm

The 'memorial' was a plastic banner trying to lure folks in for the scientology auditing 'counseling' scam.. and I saw no one in attendance, and if you are into details the time didn;t start till after we had left that day.

The National Mental health Association issued a press release WARNING THE PUBLIC about their 911 'efforts'

http://www.lisamcpherson.org/nmha.htm

Anyhow, Im just an honest guy trying to do the right thing.... and I just wish more folks would help...

And note well: I mention THEIR webpages about me on my site, but don't try to find mention of these pages on their site !

Despite what Scientology's Disnformation campaign might try to
lead you to believe I have no dislike much less hatred for any race, creed, color or religion -
including those unfortunates defrauded by Scientology, I suppose if I wanted play like the Scientologists
I could claim minoity persecution based upon my Mexican heritage.

My issue is with SECRETS AND LIES and those who profit from them...]

U.S. Government prosecutor's memorandum to U.S. District Court Judge
Charles R. Richey urging maximum sentences for Mary Sue Hubbard {wife of
unindicted co-conspirator and founder of Scientology L. Ron Hubbard} and 11
other Scientologists for conspiring to steal government documents, theft of
government documents, and conspiring to obstruct justice.

"That these defendants were willing to frame their critics to the point of giving
false testimony under oath against them and having them arrested and indicted
speaks legion for their disdain for the rule of law. Indeed, they arrogantly placed
themselves above the law, meting out their personal brand of punishment to
those 'guilty' of opposing their selfish aims."

I started reading the Spotlight in 92 and it seems far less radical
that what I'd heard about the previous years, - I started reading it as I was editor for the
state of Virginia's perot newsletter, "The Arlington Volunteers"
and heard that by vote Liberty Lobbys' "Board of Policy' had endorsed

[Much litigated Ex-member Gerry Armstrong has an inciteful commentary HERE "
"Hubbard subscribed to the "Spotlight." He set up the whole $cientology
Missions International organization and franchise network pursuant to
information published by Carto."

Ross Perot for President

I was a petitioner and Deputy Coordinator
for Arlington County for the Perot petition drive.
The Spotlight used to publish a lot of good stuff
about the IRS*

{later I discover that the IRS 'exposes' were based on discovery documents
obtained from the 500 legal actions that Scientology had pressed against the IRS itself
and provided routinely to the Spotlight )

and news that
I could understand why no one else would print it.
I personally did not note a anti-Semitic bent in the
issues that I read, though I did look for it. If they were there
and I missed them, ok, as I only read articles I was interested in..
And those were along the lines of Government Reform, Political Corruption
and such.
There are 350,000 readers of the Spotlight and 45,000 pay
and extra $15 or so to have voting rights - all the
current policy of Liberty Lobby - what it determines are
the issues are determined by those folks willing to
pay $15. I paid the $15, as I knew the Spotlight previous
reputation for being pretty far right wing [whatever that is]
and I believed in Democracy, and I wanted to exert by voice
in order to make sure it didn't revert to its previous
behavior. That's part of why I joined. - this was in 1992 or 1993 - I never renewed
this membership in order to avoid having to explain everything on this page..

And they endorsed Ross Perot!

Fall 1994 - November 4th

The cult send two men in black to my door in Nov 1994
I mailed out 5 letters addressed to Newspapers, Washington post, Wash Times, and
a couple others *and* The Spotlight, asking for help.. the letter described the
goons on my doorstep... and closed with:

This is America?
I got two replies, one was from Richard Leiby, who wrote the an article. That
was published Christmas Day 1994 in the Washington Post..."Scientology's War Against Critics and truth :"

I also got a call from Willis Carto.

Willis Carto called and I went to his office.
He told me about Tom Marcellus, Scientologist, a $40,000 Donor to the
International Association of Scientologists [IAS] likely an OSA Operative.
Who had spent the previous DECADE working his way to become Willis Carto's
right hand man - he had all the keys.. access to everything...
I gave him Mr. Carto diskettes with the court affidavits I had been scanning
and uploading to the net - which was why the cult sent the "men in black" to my door.
Those affidavits are now net classics -

On the wall of his office was a picture of Thomas Jefferson, with a little card
under it saying "Thomas Jefferson - America's first Populist"
Willis described himself as a Jeffersonian populist - which fit with my own
description of what was needed to reform society at this time -
To make it more democratic... closer to our founders intent
'Of the People, by the People and for the People - instead of 'of the money,
by the money and for the money' as it appeared to me - and as
Scientology's litigation machine seeks to enforce....

Tom Marcellus, Scientologist, FSM, and IAS donor happened to have ended up running
the Institute for Historical Review [IHR] - now I don't recall all the details, -
only my conclusions from asking Willis Carto some questions.. I asked about
Holocaust denial specifically [ as I was truly concerned ] and Willis said that IHR
never said that. And provided a book about the Mermelstein
lawsuit - in which a Jewish Judge threw out that charge in a defamation case -
[this is how I recall the events] - Ok that was fine. He then went on to explain
that The Jewish Holocaust wasn't the biggest in history just perhaps the best
promoted - in order to ensure a continued flow of US taxpayers money to support
to State of Israel - and perhaps the numbers were exaggerated to some degree..

And as Israel is the largest recipient of US Foreign Aid.
I could understand how certain things might be exaggerated in order to build
public support for 10 billion dollars in aid.. per year.. Willis said that IHR was looking at all information..
As he was thought that figures for the the holocaust may have been inflated in
order to ensure adequate funding for Israel and to prevent a public outcry about
10 billion a year. That much money can motivate a lot of folks.

And he continued and said the populist stand of our forefathers did not want
there to be foreign entanglements of any kind - and I recall that concern in
the historical writings of that era... and
I also was aware of some of the terrible things that have been done to other
nations by my government in the name of freedom and justice for all as well as
the good..

It was explained to me that ADL and some Jewish organization had been 'dead
agenting' Willis for years, to ensure that Willis Carto would not be a threat to
this huge pile of money. he gave me some material about a case called the
mermelstien case

This all hung together and made sense -

But this was not why I was there...

I was there researching Scientology's involvement with Liberty Lobby, Willis Carto and The Spotlight, and was surprised to learn of the extensive involvement, of
Scientologist Tom Marcellus who charmed his way to becoming
Willis Carto's right hand man

All this was presented to me, to settle my qualms but the subject of our
discussions was SCIENTOLOGY. Then, one day, and Willis Carto described it
incredulously as "in an eyblink, he turned on me" - " A man I had entrusted with
everything, - Scientologist Tom Marcellus was my right hand man
."

So Scientologist Tom Marcellus took over IHR in a complicated court case that we
don't need to understand, just that he took control

Willis asked me "Why would Scientology want the IHR files?" I don't know who
came up with it, but it was concluded that it was perhaps part of a plan to
handle the problem German Government opposition to Scientology, -OR- perhaps, as part of scientology's plan to always offer a target "a carrot and a stick" - what if this was used as the carrot?
As an enticement to help get the IRS to grant such an odious organization such as Scientology,
Charitable non-profit status? Or, perhaps those lists of contributors to this effort contained people currently well placed in Germany - who could be used by an organization as nefarious as Scientology historically has been proven in court to be, to try to destabilize the Kohl Government [FRG]

Mr. Carto pointed out that the date of the approval of theSecret Settlement agreement with the IRS
was the exact same date to the day as the DATE that Scientology Field Staff Member Tom Marcellus, physically took over IHR, including all its files and records.

Coincidence....?

Now it turns out that the that an ex-Deputy IRS Commissioner named Meade Emory was
one of founders of Scientology’s COST - Church of Spiritual technology - the
highest umbrella corporation in the Scientology Empire

Coincidence.....?

"Again and again I therefore admonish my students in Europe and America: Don't aim at success - the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one's personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself. Happiness must happen, and the same holds for success: you have to let it happen by not caring about it. I want you to listen to what your conscience commands you to do and go on to carry it out to the best of your knowledge. Then you will live to see that in the long-run - in the long-run, I say! - success will follow you precisely because you had forgotten to think about it."
