Denis was born in Sydney, he has a string of solo exhibitions to his credit. He has exhibited in New York, Italy, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, London, Hungary, Korea and Spain to mention only a few. His artwork is collected is in collections around the world. Close to home he has exhibited work at Artspace, Sir Herman Black Gallery, The Australian centre for Photography, Mori Gallery, Hogarth gallery and the Art Gallery of New South Wales. His work has been extensively published, he works on a variety of art related enterprises including catalogue design, Exhibition organisation and illustrations for numerous European and American writers and poets.
