Microsoft Interactive Classroom enhances classroom presentations by increasing student participation, helping teachers assess student comprehension, and enabling students to personalize the information presented.

Microsoft Research Updates NoReplyAll Add-in for Outlook 2010

NoReplyAll Add-in for Outlook 2010 adds a couple of buttons to the Outlook ribbon to prevent people from replying to all the recipients of your message or forwarding it.

The NoReplyAll add-in uses a facility built into Outlook and Exchange that is more lightweight than information-rights management but is not exposed in the existing UI. The add-in also includes a check for common email errors, such as omitting attachments or subject lines.

Microsoft Labs Upgrades Office 2010 Ribbon Hero 2

Microsoft Labs has upgraded their Office 2010 Ribbon Hero 2 – a game for Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Word, designed to help you boost your Office skills and knowledge.   Play games (aka “challenges”), score points, and compete with your friends while improving your productivity with Office.

“Ribbon Hero 2 follows the story of Clippy (yes, he’s alive!) and his travels through time as he explores different time periods and tries to get back home. With each time period, the player gets to explore a new game board with challenges they must complete to get to the next level. Each challenge takes the player into Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or OneNote to complete a task. Discover new Office features by actually using them, with a hint button to fall back on in case you get stuck. Race for a high score with colleagues, classmates, and friends, or even put your score on your resume to show off your Office skills!”
