For English to Persian translations enter the English word in the
textbox indicated by the word "English:" and click on
"Find". Oila!
Now
you could click on the Persian words to jump to the Persian-English
dictionary and vice-versa.
The
Persian to English section, situated in the bottom half of the above
word entry box, is designed to provide you with a choice of writing
systems for entering a Persian word to be translated. No new fonts
are needed (Note: Internet Explorer 5 or higher is required
for Persian word entries). You can utilize your regular
keyboard to either:
1. Enter a word in
the Roman alphabet or Romanized (UniPers)
transcription - middle textbox above
[ NOTE: use the extra 3 diacrtic letters if needed ]
Examples of Persian word entries:
šdb or shaadaab,
žžxyi or zhaazhxaayi
or
2. Enter a word in
the current Persian (Perso-Arabic) alphabet - bottom textbox above
After selecting your favorite writing system
and entering a word, click on the appropriate submit button.
Click
on the image to hear the audio pronunciation
of the Persian words!
Now
you could click on the English words to jump to the English-Persian
dictionary and vice-versa.
