We all know and love RTS games, but one for Game Boy?! And what a game it is! It must be seen to be believed! This game is easily worth a purchase. The only simple thing about this game is the plot: destroy the opposition. Your not omnipotent, so enter Mr. Challenge. This game isn't easy, but it's incredibly fun. And you can play as either the humans or beasts, so you don't get sick of looking at one type of army.

gameplay
I can't say enough about this game's graphics. Not only do all of your men have animations for 2 health positions, but your soldiers have different animations than your workers! And this game is made to hold humongous batles. I've had a large regiment of soldiers on screen at once; two battalions of about 11 guys each and not a single smigin of slowdown. And they were all moving individually. It had no problem moving them all towards one poor beast...

But it's not just the framerate I'm raving about the fact that you can tell what everything is, including soldiers, archers, wizards, farms, barracks', bases, guard towers, and that's not all. The environment is beautiful. There are trees, castles, rubble, mines, and the water/molten lava is simply amazing! It looks incredibly good for an RTS, and it's on Game Boy to boot! And then there are mug shots of wizards, and other characters, which look astonishing.

gameplay
You won't be dissapointed here, folks! We have people saying understandable things, like, "Yes master," and, "Ready." But what RTS would be complete without, "Attack!" ringing out whenever you sentence some poor bastard to death by way of an army of well-trained soldiers when he's all by himself. And the music isn't annoying, it's actually quite nice to hear.

gameplay
The game is very simple to learn. Bits Studios did an excellent job on the controls: A higlights a worker or soldier. If he's a worker, he can build with a tap of the B button, and move with A. Soldiers can protect with A, or move with A, and so can archers. They also attack with A, it just depends on where you press it. You can also deselect people by holding A or pushing select. The buildings are easy to use, too. A little icon of a person will appear, and you can make a person when it does. The icons and little pictures at the bottom menu are so easy to use, the most simplistic gamer should have no trouble.

multiplayer
See Gameplay above.

overall
This game is the greatest game I have played on Game Boy. No, it really is. I don't know what's not to love about this game! If you're still skeptical, go and rent it. You'd be cheating yourself not too. Of course I'm gonna stop talking here so I can go and play it some more.

final score 10/10
