     2007 Pallium Lecture Series - James Towey, President of St. Vincent College, Latrobe, Pa.
 
  James Towey, President of St. Vincent College, Latrobe, Pa., will open the 2007 Pallium Lecture Series. Mr. Towey served as Assistant to the President of the United States and director of the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives from 2002-2006.

Towey's presentationw will address "Faith-Based Initiatives."

Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, Archbishop Emeritus of Washington, D.C. is the second speaker of the 2007 Series on Thursday, March 29.

Dr. Robert George, the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University, concludes the 2007 Series on Monday, June 11.

In 2003, Milwaukee Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan introduced the Pallium Lecture Series as an opportunity for members of the Catholic community of southeastern Wisconsin to learn from national and international experts on a variety of topics that are pertinent to Catholic life in today's world.
