Bottling plant workers in Africa are asking for full comprehensive HIV/AIDS health care. Currently only 1.5% of Coca Cola's African workers are given access to cheap HIV/AIDS medicines and education. Coca-Cola is the largest private sector employer in Africa so their actions set standards for other companies!
Workers in Colombia, Florida, & Guatemala are trying to organize unions but have been the targets of union busting and human rights abuses.
Please call Coca Cola at 404-676-4971 on or around October 17th, the Global day of action against Coke, and urge them to give HIV/AIDS health care to African workers and union rights for their workers in Colombia, Florida and Guatemala!
