     Elizabeth Ministry Founder Jeannie Hannerman Presents Day of Lenten Reflection
 
 

MEQUON – An Elizabeth Ministry Training and Day of Lenten Reflection featuring Jeannie Hannermann, the founder of Elizabeth Ministry will be offered Saturday, March 5, at St. James Parish, 11300 N. St. James Lane in Mequon. The morning will be a time for Lenten reflection and prayer. The afternoon portion of the program will be devoted to training to become an Elizabeth Minister.

Elizabeth Ministry is an international movement designed to offer support to women and their families throughout the joys, trials and sorrows of the childbearing years. Elizabeth Ministry’s mission is to “cherish children, encourage families and build community.” Services offered include: peer support, mentoring, spiritual nourishment, educational and inspirational resources. Elizabeth Ministry carries on the tradition of maternal mentoring exemplified in the story of the visitation of Mary and Elizabeth.

Jeannie Hannermann is the founder of Elizabeth Ministry and executive director of the Elizabeth Ministry International Headquarters. She holds a masters degree in Community Leadership: Adult Christian Community Development. She is a Family Life Minister, Early Childhood Specialist, Parent Educator, Retreat Director and internationally recognized speaker, author and consultant. Her programs have won diocesan, state and national awards within the church and secular community.
