MILWAUKEE – A Day of Healing for Widowed Men and Women will be offered on Saturday, February 12, from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Archbishop Cousins Catholic Center, 3501 S. Lake Dr. in St. Francis. The cost for the event is $20 which includes lunch and materials (fee assistance is available).
This program for widowed men and women is designed to offer a healing experience for those who mourn. The day will provide time for reflection, sharing, and praying about the grief experience. Chuck Murphy from Catholic Cemeteries will speak on the Spiritual Aspects of Grief and there will be presentations by people who are widowed.
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s Office of Lifelong Faith Formation and Catholic Cemeteries are collaborating to host this new program.
