The USCCB Department of Communications has posted a new Webpage with news and information about the response of the Catholic Church to the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina.
The site www.usccb.org/collections/hurricanekatrina.htm includes information about the national collection called by USCCB President Bishop Skylstad, how to contact Catholic charitable organizations collecting donations, USCCB news releases, news from CNS, statements from Church leaders, liturgical prayers, and soon will include messages of solidarity from other bishops' conferences and international Catholic organizations.
