Milwaukee Auxiliary Bishop Richard J. Sklba will celebrate Mass for St. Lawrence Seminary faculty, staff and students on Friday, January 26, at noon. The Mass begins St. Lawrence Seminary's Catholic Schools Week, a weeklong national celebration.

"We will celebrate that St. Lawrence Seminary has been a part of Catholic education for more than 140 years," said Rev. Dennis Druggan, St. Lawrence Seminary president. "I think that a Catholic education might be one of the greatest gifts parents can give their children. I have such respect for those people making sacrifices so that their children are able to receive a Catholic education."

Following Mass, a banquet lunch will be held. Students will then begin their annual Winter Carnival, which features sledding, football, snow sculpting and snow soccer.
