Research areas:
Experimental atomic physics, laser cooling and trapping of neutral atoms, atom interferometry.

Research involves studies of coherent transient phenomena in atomic samples such as Laser cooled atoms. Some of this work involves precision measurements using atom interferometry. Applications of this work are related to the development of portable instrumentation.

This is a new program in atomic Physics at York University that is keenly on the lookout for students.

Our research is supported by CFI, OIT, NSERC, and York University.
