program in a primetime slot. But once The Simpsons
proved itself to be perhaps the most consistently popular
humor program on television, the other major networks,
original as ever, rushed to duplicate Simpsonic success.

Summers Lovin'?

At the press conference Sunday night following the announcement of his appointment, President-designate Lawrence Summers indicated that improving undergraduate education and college life would be among his top priorities. Still, protestors outside chanting “Whose university? Our university!” indicated that many question the ability of a man chosen in secret and without student input to respond adequately to undergraduate concerns.
