* Technology Coordinator Forum (SIGTC)
Monday, June 27, 12 pm–4 pm, Room 113C  add to planner

SIGTC's third annual forum has a dual focus: a discussion of technology leadership in a 21st-Century digital learning environment; and a collaborative, hands-on session on managing handheld computers in education. The SIGTC Forum provides an opportunity for technology leaders to share observations, ideas, strategies, and problems in supporting technology for schools, districts, and regions. We'll facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences from the field and discuss professional practice in depth. Forum participants will receive a copy of David Warlick's new book Redefining Literacy for the 21st Century. Fee includes lunch. Preregistration and an additional fee of $50 are required.

* Teacher Educator Forum (SIGTE)

The SIGTE Forum is a special preconference event for SIGTE members and others interested in issues related to technology use in teacher education. The event allows members to hear from leaders in our field, engage in compelling discussions, schedule NECC sessions to attend, plan future events, and most important, connect with colleagues from around the world.

Convene with fellow Affiliate representatives at the annual event that addresses the business and activities of the Affiliate member program. Meet the Affiliate executive leadership to discuss and plan year-round activities that enhance the benefits of your membership, exchange best practices, and recognize innovators and leaders committed to advancing educational technology solutions for teachers and learners everywhere. Meeting includes breakfast, lunch, and three breakout sessions. Two representatives from each Affiliate attend for free; each additional representative pays $100.
