     Archdiocese of Milwaukee Presents 2004 Pallium Lecture Series

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee will host the 2004 Pallium Lecture Series this spring at the Archbishop Cousins Catholic Center. The Pallium Lecture Series has been designed to provide enrichment and insight.

Each lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a prayer service, followed by the lecture, a question and answer session, and a reception. The Pallium Lecture Series is free and open to the public.

Archbishop Celestino Migliore, will open the Series on Thursday, April 1. His lecture is titled "The Holy See as a Prophetic Voice in the World." Archbishop Migliore is the Apostolic Nuncio and Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations.

Dr. Philip Jenkins continues the series on Tuesday, May 11 with "The Christian Church in the New Millennium." Dr. Jenkins is a Distinguished Professor of History and Religious Studies at Penn State University.

Best-selling author Mary Higgins Clark concludes the Series on Monday, June 28, with "Catholic Imagination and the Renewal of Culture."
