We Give Thanks

God of Wonder, you shower us with miracles each day of our lives.
For treasures we often take for granted, we thank you.
Open our hearts to appreciate your hand in all of creation.

God of Compassion, you enfold us in gentle mercy, forgiving our frailties.
For your never-failing confidence in us, we thank you.
Strengthen our spirits when doubt plagues our hearts or despair invades our souls.

God of Justice, you charge us with bringing your Presence to our world.
For people and events that challenge us to advocacy and action, we thank you.
Teach us to stand against intolerance and to care for your people in need.

God of All Gifts, help us to appreciate our many blessings, to share them freely,
And to receive with grace gifts given by others.
