     Installation of Archbishop Dolan to Include Series of Celebrations
 
  The installation of the Most Reverend Timothy M. Dolan as Archbishop of Milwaukee will include a series of liturgical events and celebrations, beginning with a solemn evening prayer vigil of welcome August 27 and the formal installation Mass August 28. Those two events will be by invitation only.

In addition, nine celebrations of welcome will take place from Friday, Aug. 30, through Sunday, Sept. 8, at locations around the 10-county archdiocese, providing all Catholics throughout southeastern Wisconsin the opportunity to meet, pray and celebrate with their new archbishop. All of these celebrations are open to the public.

The schedule for celebrations includes:

  • Friday, Aug. 30, 7 p.m., Mass at St. John Vianney in Brookfield, Wis.
  • Saturday, Aug. 31, 4:30 p.m., Mass at St. Frances Cabrini in West Bend, Wis.
  • Sunday, Sept. 1, 3 p.m. Mass in English and Spanish, at Prince of Peace, Milwaukee
  • Tuesday, Sept. 3, 7 p.m., Mass at St. Dominic, Sheboygan, Wis.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 4, 7 p.m., Mass at St. Francis DeSales, Lake Geneva, Wis.
  • Thursday, Sept. 5, 7 p.m., Mass at St. Richard, Racine, Wis.
  • Friday, Sept. 6, 7 p.m., Mass at St. Rita, West Allis, Wis.
  • Saturday, Sept. 7, 4:30 p.m., Mass at St. Robert, Shorewood, Wis.
  • Sunday, Sept. 8, 3 p.m., Mass at Mater Christi Chapel, Archbishop Cousins Catholic Center, St. Francis, Wis.

    The Sept. 8 celebration will be followed by an archdiocesan picnic reception for Catholics of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee on the grounds of Archbishop Cousins Catholic Center, 3501 S. Lake Drive.
