This program – featuring Milwaukee Auxiliary Bishop Richard J. Sklba, an expert on first century Christianity and Dr. Amy-Jill Levine, Professor of New Testament Studies at Vanderbilt University Divinity School – kicked-off the year-long celebration marking the 40th anniversary of the landmark Vatican II document responsible for promoting interfaith dialogue, education and understanding between Christians and Jews.

Under the title of “Covenantal Partners: 40 Years of Catholic Jewish Encounter”, the Catholic-Jewish Conference will continue to sponsor programs throughout the year. (For a brochure, click on the PDF link at the bottom of this page.)

The original program “Reflections on Nostra Aetate: The Catalyst for Conversation” was held at Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue on January 30th.

The program will air on cable television in the North Shore area on cable channel 14, NSCM, and in the city of Milwaukee on cable channel 96.

In the North Shore area, (Bayside, Brown Deer, Fox Point, Glendale, River Hills, Shorewood, Whitefish Bay) the program will run on cable channel 14 at: Wed @ 8:29pm; Fri @ 4:30pm; Sun @ 9:59pm (because of length, some of the plays begin a minute "early")
