In the words of the traditional Easter hymn, "The strife is over, the battle done; now is the Victor’s triumph won."
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Terri Schiavo. May their comfort and consolation come from their faith in the resurrection and the victory over death earned by our Lord Jesus Christ.
May our country learn from her valiant witness to the dignity and value of human life, even when disabled.
Our prayer is that her soul now may finally rest in peace.
