The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert on Sunday, June 9, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. The concert begins at 4 p.m. and the Jackson Street doors open at 3 p.m. A special concert will be performed by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO), Andreas Delfs, Music Director to benefit the Outreach Ministry of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. On Sunday, June 9, the MSO will perform "Notes of Appreciation," with music from Anton Bruckner and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concert will be held at 4 p.m. at the Cathedral, located at 802 N. Jackson St.

Seating for the concert is limited. All tickets are for general seating. The cost per ticket is $35.

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor who will underwrite the cost of the concert, all proceeds from ticket sales will be given to the Cathedral Outreach Ministries.

“We’re very grateful that such a generous spirit is sponsoring the concert,” said Joan Feiereisen, the archdiocesan development director. “It is made even more special with all proceeds now going directly to the Cathedral’s Outreach Ministries.”
