Martial Arts in Brisbane

Martial Arts Martial arts such as karate, aikido, judo and others are sports that require mental fitness as well as physical flexibility and control. Your mind gets a workout as you learn discipline, respect and self-esteem. The stretches, kicks and movements improve your body and martial arts like Tai Chi can also provide relaxation and mental awareness.

If you’ve always wanted to learn a form of martial art, whether it’s for self-defence or purely for fun, then Brisbane has lots of schools and clubs you can join. Most offer classes for children too.

When you are choosing somewhere to learn, ask if you can watch a class in action. Decide if you like the style of martial art and the way the class is run.

Search the ourbrisbane.com directory for Martial Arts & Self-Defence Clubs. Here you will find information on and links to over 50 martial arts organisations across a range of different disciplines.
