Candy Airplanes

This sweet Valentine craft will be flying from your hand into the hearts and tummies of your loved ones!

Supplies:

  • Thin red rubber bands

  • Peppermint lifesavers
  • Smarties
  • Stick gum
  • Heart-shaped stickers

Directions:

  1. Thread the rubber band through the holes of the two Life Savers, then balance the roll of Smarties between them across the rubber band.

  2. To add the wings, balance the stick of gum on the top, perpendicular to the Smarties, and pull the rubber band up and over each end of the gum to hold it all in place.

  3. Decorate the wings with stickers or a message.

HINT:
This would be a fun project for the whole family, and would provide an opportunity for children to work cooperatively since younger family members will need help assembling the plane.
