Feathered Mardi Gras MasksMask
Mask Supplies:
  • Mask pattern
  • Cardboard
  • Tracing Paper
  • Scissors
  • X-acto knife
  • Glue
  • Sequins
  • Feathers
  • Strong tape
  • Yarn or Twine
  • Paint
  • Toothpicks

 

  1. Print out mask pattern. Tape the pattern on the cardboard and cut out.
  2. Paint the cardboard desired color.
  3. Begin gluing the feathers around the mask, starting in the center and working out to the sides. Try to make the two sides as symmetrical as possible.
  4. Turn the mask over and use the strong tape to hold the yarn or twine near the eye holes.
  5. On the right side, use glue and a toothpick to stick multicolored sequins or small jewels around the eye holes and in various spots on the mask.
