EGGSHELL MOSAIC

Materials needed:
  • Supplies needed:
  • Colored hard-boiled eggs
  • Construction paper
  • Tacky glue

  •
1. Here’s a project that you can do with those leftover, dyed Easter eggs.  The eggs used in the sample above were colored with a store bought dye kit.  The more eggs you have, the bigger your project can be.
2. You might want to sketch the idea that you have in mind on a separate piece of paper.  This way you will know what colors you would like to use.
3. Carefully peel each boiled egg that you are going to use.  Try not to make the pieces of shell too small.
4. Set the eggs aside.   You might want to try one of our recipes for hard-boiled eggs.
5. The size of construction paper depends on how many eggs you’re going to use.  Place the construction paper in front of you.  Lay out the eggshells in the mosaic pattern you want first.
6. Glue down each piece with tacky glue.
