Mr. Mouse

Supplies:
  • 1 sheet of construction paper for background, any color
  • 1 sheet of pink construction paper
  • 1 sheet of black construction paper
  • Pencil for tracing pattern
  • Scissors
  • Styrofoam cup (8 oz)
  • Elmer’s glue
  • Patterns

Directions:

  1. Use the pattern provided and cut out all the pieces: ear, nose, and bow tie.
  2. Take one sheet of pink construction paper, trace and cut two ears.
  3. Take the sheet of black construction paper and trace the nose and bow tie. Cut the nose and bow tie out.
  4. Next, take the extra black construction paper and a pair of scissors. Cut narrow strips to look like whiskers.
  5. Have an adult help you cut the 8oz styrofoam cup in half.
  6. Lay the background paper on a flat surface. Position ears on background and glue.
  7. Place cup below ears and glue.
  8. Attach bow tie.
  9. Position whiskers and glue.
  10. Draw eyes and mouth.
