Recipe Holder

Materials needed:
  • About 23 Small Popsicle Sticks
  • Glue
  • Decorations of your choice
  • Ribbon or String

RecipeHolder

1. Glue 3 sticks together to make a U shape.

2. Glue 1 more stick on top of each of the side sticks.  You can add more if you want to fit more recipe cards in.  Leave the bottom layer single.

3. Flip it over so the you are on the side where the 1 stick is glued at the bottom of the U.

4. Line the sticks next to this one, one at a time glueing them into place, in a row.

5. Flip back to the other side.  Use about 7 or 8 popsicle sticks to glue sticks in a row about 2/3 of the way up.

6. Glue one sick on the bottom to cover the opening.

7. Decorate your recipe holder using cut out fabric, foam, felt, paper, pictures, glitter, paint, seashells or anything else you might want.

8. When project is dry use ribbon, string or yarn to add a hanger to the back.  This can be glued or taped on.

9.  Fill the holder with 3" x 5" recipe cards.
