Bunny Rabbit Pencil & More Holder
Submitted by Ms. Edith

Supplies:
  • 1 small empty potato chip container
    (approximate height 3 1/4")
  • 1 8"x10" sheet of colored paper
    (sample shown is wallpaper)
  • 1 small piece of pink paper
  • 2 wiggle eyes
  • 2 small pompoms
  • 1 medium pompom
  • 1 small bow
  • glue, scissors, ruler, pencil & marker
  • bunny patterns

1. The hard part is first. Eat all the potato chips! Then wipe out the can and discard the lid.

2. Measure the paper that will cover the can. It is 3" x 9 3/4". We have used a sample of flowered wall paper for this. You may use any color of construction paper, or even a piece of gift wrapping paper instead. Glue the paper all around the can.

3. Cut out the rabbit’s ears from the same paper. Click here for the ear pattern. Be sure and cut out four. Glue the wrong sides together, so you will have two ears. Squeeze the bottoms of the ears together and glue to hold. Position and glue onto the inside front of the empty can.

4. Take the small piece of pink paper and trace around the nose and mouth with the pattern shown. Cut these out and position on the can and glue in place.

5. Glue on the wiggle eyes, the small pompoms and the bow on the front. Then with a marker draw on whiskers. Turn the can around a glue on the medium sized pompom for the tail.
