Egg Carton Daffodil
Created by Ms. Megan
    Materials:
  • 1 egg carton cup
  • Yellow paint
  • Yellow and green construction paper
  • 1 pipe cleaner
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • 2-3 beads
  • Stapler
 Instructions:
1.  Paint the egg carton cup yellow on the inside and the outside, and set aside to dry.
2.  Cut six flower petals out of the yellow construction paper.
3. Punch a hole in each petal and poke a hole in the top of the dried egg carton cup.
4.  Bend the top 2 inches of the pipe cleaner at a right angle and thread it through the petals followed by the egg carton cup. (You may want to use a little glue to help hold the petals in place.)
5.  Anchor the egg carton cup with a few beads, and bend the pipe cleaner over to secure the beads in place.
6.  Fold a long strip of green construction paper in half and cut a long triangular shape out of it. When you unfold this, it should create long, skinny diamond shape.
7. Punch a hole in the center of the green diamond piece and thread it halfway up the pipe cleaner stem.
8.  Staple the green paper in place with each side of the “leaf” pointing upward like a daffodil’s leaves.
