Our Purpose and Goal

PARENTHOOD is published in order to present a view of Biblical Christian parenting and to strengthen our function as Christian parents in the Lord's Recovery to raise up our children in the Lord for His purpose. In each issue we want to highlight the positive aspects of how we can labor to fulfill our God-given stewardship through our Christian parenting. From time to time we also will identify some of the negative influences which impact on our children and frustrate us from nurturing them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.

We hope to foster a common burden among all of the parents of the children and young people in the Lord's Recovery. In the light of the ministry we have received we serving ones and parents must find a way to labor together to train the character and spiritual development of our children.

PARENTHOOD is a free paper published monthly to strengthen the function of parents according to the vision in the Lord's Recovery. We primarily use the writings of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. Unless otherwise indicated, all excerpts are from materials published by the Living Stream Ministry and are used by permission.
