Open Positions in the ECA (jan 10)
The ECA has two open positions that we'd love filled for the remainder of the year. If you're interested in getting involved with the ECA and it's most awesome team then you should definitely try out. Even if you want to do it next year, you could think of it as a trial period/training.
Welcome Back Everybody! (jan 9)
The ECA office is closed right now until January 12th where you can rush us and ask questions. We'll also be putting out some agendas for those of you taking your first semester at Concordia. They're good until the end of the summer so don't pass them up.
Holiday Potluck (nov 24) Before the semester closes we have one last event to offer you guys! It's a holiday potluck for engineering and computer science students. All you have to do is your bring your side-dish, dessert, etc etc and we'll bring the wine, eggnog, turkey, and stuffing.
Curling Night + Exam Bank (nov 15) Wow, the semester is winding down and your marketing person barely has time to update the website! But we did get our exams scanned and uploaded to the website so you can mosey on over and download them.
We also have a night of curling on Friday. It was absolutely amazing last year so we're doing it again! Tickets are 10$ and include food. CFES Congress, Tutoring, & Open House Volunteers (oct 31) Lots going on! First off, we hope all your midterms went awesomely well (or at least you passed them) and, secondly, you didn't eat too much Halloween candy because, y'know, it's so good!
# Tutoring: we put up our list of available tutors and tutors we're looking for.
# Open House Volunteers: the ECA is helping to organize this year's open house! We're looking for volunteers who are vibrant, outgoing, and have completed at least one semester.
# CFES Congress Applications: want to be a delegate at CFES Congress and spend an incredible 6 days fine-tuning your student life (not to mention - all expenses paid)? Then you should definitely apply! Events (oct 24) Our events section just went up with details about Iron Ring and our soon-to-be scanned in exam bank. In the meantime why don't you check out our HUGE HALLOWEEN PARTY. It'll be the biggest interfaculty party at Concordia ever and in the name of Halloween. For 15$ you'll get a ticket (which includes 1 free drink - additional drinks are 5$) and a chance to win tickets to Daytona Beach!
Minutes + Exec Pages (oct 23rd) Midterms are coming to a close and that means we can actually get the website in full working order. There's some issues in Internet Explorer, so don't panic (it's not you, it's us). In any case, we've put up the minutes so you can get a grasp on what we discuss during our council meetings.
If you are in Building, Civil or Environmental Engineering (and even if you aren't), come drink some wine and eat some chease with ASHRAE, CSCE, CUBES, your fellow classmates and your teachers! It's free and the wine and cheese will be provided!
