View works of Chinese painting + calligraphy

The Museum of Fine Arts is home to some of the most treasured paintings of the Chinese tradition. Among them are magnificent examples of the bird and flower genre, landscape painting, and some of the most exquisite early figure paintings still in existence. The collection also contains numerous fine works of calligraphy and painting by prominent Chinese artists active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
