Highlights
View Later Decorative Arts of China
More than half of the Chinese collection consists of decorative arts—gold and silver, ceramics, lacquer, later jade, textiles, and glass, as well as other media. Major gifts by Charles Bain Hoyt and by Eugene and Paul Bernat contributed greatly to the development of the museum’s Chinese ceramics collection, which is regarded as one of the world’s finest.
