50 Cent's "In Da Club" continues its reign on Billboard's singles charts, topping the Hot 100 for a third week, the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks tally for a fifth week, and the Hot Rap Tracks count for the seventh week. With his album "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" (Shady/Interscope) leading The Billboard 200 and Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks roundup, 50 Cent has control of most of Billboard's major tallies.
Other artists are also getting in on the fun, as Destiny's Child's Beyonce Knowles enters the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks tally with a cover of "In Da Club." The track, which was made available on the Web, has crossed over to radio, and earned enough play to debut at No. 73.
Jennifer Lopez's "All I Have" featuring LL Cool J has been a steady No. 2 on the Hot 100, but R. Kelly's "Ignition" is making gains at radio, up this week 6-3. On the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks tally, "Ignition" is No. 2, stuck between "In Da Club" and Tyrese's "How You Gonna Act Like That."
Kid Rock's "Picture" featuring Sheryl Crow/Allison Moorer jumps 10-6 on the Hot 100, bringing the cut to a new peak position. The song is the top-selling single in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, for the seventh week. The Hot 100's fastest-growing track at radio is Sean Paul's "Get Busy," which bolts 34-19. The track moves 16-10 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, giving Paul his second top-10 hit on the urban survey.
The fastest-growing track at retail on the Hot 100 is JC Chasez's "Blowin' Me Up (With Her Love)." However, the cut is losing airplay, which results in a 35-48 slide. The top debut on the Hot 100 is matchbox twenty's "Unwell," which lands at No. 59. Other notable entries include Justin Timberlake's "Rock Your Body" at No. 61, Diamond Rio's "I Believe" at No. 69, 50 Cent's "21 Questions" featuring Nate Dogg at No. 74, and Jaheim's "Put That Woman First" at No. 75.
The Dixie Chicks' "Travelin' Soldier" replaces Gary Allan's "Man to Man" at No.1 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks roundup. The Chicks' topical cut is at No. 25 on the Hot 100, where the trio's cover of "Landslide" holds at No. 7.
On Billboard's rock airplay charts, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Can't Stop" maintains its grip at No. 1 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart for the third-straight week, while 3 Doors Down's "When I'm Gone" rules the Mainstream Rock Tracks tally for a 17th-straight week.
