OK, y'all, I'll start!

My baby chicks graduated to the big, fenced, chicken yard today and I bought 200 pounds of chicken feed and scratch mix.

Moved some bulk ammo from under the work bench to basement storage.

Tomorrow I need to find some dry ice to pack up 50 pounds of white rice in 5 gallon buckets with gamma seal lids.

What have you done today or this week?

Well you picked a  bad week to ask me about preps. It's been 100 for three days and I won't even go outside if I can help it. But I did make a note to call my firewood guy and get more wood. You can tell a person reads at LATOC when it is 100 degrees out and they think about the woodstove  Grin

This week I:

* ordered another couple of ceramic filters for our doomer water purification setup.
* ordered another five gallon bucket of activated carbon
* pulled weeds in the garden
* cursed the cold weather - at least we don't have to use the heating or A/C - but I've about given up on tomatoes by the end of the month.   Roll Eyes
* waxed a 2 lb cheddar wheel I made a few days ago and set it in the store room to age for 6 months or a year.   Grin
* washed and dried some new raw wool I'm hoping to card later this week

This week:

Tilled the gardens and pulled weeds.

Planted some okra, purple hull peas, more nasturtiums, calendulas, kohlarbi, basil and fennel.

Harvested and dried some rue, chocolate mint, thyme & yarrow.

Cleared an area for the new chicken coop.

Made strawberry jam and froze sliced strawberries.

Fixed the pasture fence....again.

Tomorrow I will hopefully be picking yellow squash!

Not so much. I bought in about 4 kilo (I am too tired to convert this) of split green peas today, and some extra cans of cat food - the rest of the day, since 4 am, I have been on the phone doing frightful media interview after frightful media interview. (I'm sorry, I never mentioned PO, perhaps I should have done LOL).

Bought several person-months of food. I'll have about a years worth when the backordered cans of beef come in.

Put in an order for 4 rain barrels and 3 solar ovens (1 good one, and 2 cheap ones to evaluate)

Bought a bicycle last week for me and my wife.  Today I will buy lights for the bikes because I may be riding it to work in the early predawn darkness.

Yesterday I received the 5 new chicks that I ordered last month, finally.  Today I'll be pulling some weeds from one of my garden beds.

Did you order them online?  I'd like a taste of that deal...

Thanks,
