Hello everyone, and welcome to the "Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck" section of SuperShow 8000. On April 15th, 2002, an updated version of the cult classic "Press Your Luck debuted as a Game Show Network original series. The first season consisted of 65 episodes, which have been airing in reruns for months. Originally, this page was only going to be about the status of the premiere, but has since become an entire section of the site.

Well, a second season of Whammy is finally upon us, after a long hiatus of new episodes. And let me tell you, that so far, it seems like its going to be a great season. Several changes to the physical set, some changes to the actual gameplay, and a new color scheme are just some of the things that make the second season an incredible sight to see. Added to the second season page that I had online, is now a side-by-side comparison page, where you can see 4 different situations on the show, comparing how it looked in both seasons. Great way to see at a glance some of these changes.

Also new to the site is an episode guide for the series. It displays the original broadcast date, its episode number, as well as the names of the three contestants. Unlike other episode guides, this guide has no spoilers that will eventually tell you the final outcome of the game. Some minor spoilers are told, but nothing that will make you feel that you've been cheated. I did this because some people just want to know the original air date before they see the show, and I don't want to spoil anything big. Expect regular updates!

You can watch Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck on Game Show Network, every night at 8pm, with an encore presentation at 3am. Also, you can check out reruns every afternoon at 2pm. (All times are Eastern.)
